Angela Asatrian is an Armenian-American social worker and filmmaker.

During her master’s in social work program, she delved into the intricate complexities of human trafficking in the Philippines. In the course of her studies, she created a compelling student film shedding light on the harrowing realities of the sex trafficking industry. This pivotal experience unveiled her profound calling: merging her social work expertise with a strong resolve to support marginalized communities by using film to raise awareness.

Angela aspires to use her films as a platform to amplify the voices of those often silenced, providing an avenue for individuals who lack the opportunity to be heard.

It is through her films that Angela hopes to give a voice to those individuals who may not have an avenue or opportunity to do so.
